About this center
Joe Lasorsa started J and V Auto Parts in 1981 after years as a mechanic and repair shop owner, and his sons Carlo and Vincenzo now run it with him. The Brooklyn yard on East 83rd Street sells late model used parts for foreign and domestic makes and models, with a parts search, a vehicle lookup, shipping, and warranties.
The family also buys junk cars with free pickup and lists cars for sale. In March 2009 they opened a second facility, Central Auto Liquidators, a 63-acre yard that Vincenzo operates. The store opens Monday through Friday 8 to 5 and Saturday 8 to 2.
