The Environmental Recycling of NY - Recycling Center in New York City, NY

Their website says they close at 3:00pm and I saw another reviewer annoyed about this same issue and they even responded to them saying they had shut them out for showing up at 2:45 well now I tried to return cans at 2:00 and they claim they stop accepting returns at NOON. The only thing it says anywhere on their website is 3pm. I get not showing up at 2:50 with 1 000’s of cans like the other reviewer had but now they’re claiming they stop accepting a full THREE HOURS before they actually close?! So then PUT THAT INFO IN YOUR WEBSITE!! It’s extremely inconvenient to load my car full of cans and then not even be able to return them how difficult is it to just list your correct hours on your own website??!

These people do not know how to tell time. Their hours say they close at 3pm but at 2:50 the gates are closed. I asked if I could drop off some bottles/cans. They said they closed at 3 so I said “yea it’s 2:50 right now”. Their response was “yea that’s 3” I was then told that I should prioritize my time better and to come earlier next time. I had a van load of about 3000 bottles/cans that were organized in clear bags and labeled just how they like it and I didn’t even want the money for them. They literally let free money go on a Tuesday over them wanting to leave early. No one wants to work anymore no matter where you go. Time is always money and 10 minutes is a long time. If you close at 2:45 then advertise a 2:45 closing time.
