The Maple Grove Yardwaste Site is a privately owned yardwaste recycling center located at 10300 Maple Grove Parkway, Maple Grove, MN 55369. They are open seasonally from April 1 to November 30, with daily hours from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday to Saturday, and 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on Sundays. The site is closed on Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving. Residents of Maple Grove, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Dayton, Champlin, New Hope, Crystal, and Rogers can dispose of yardwaste for free with a permit, while residents of other cities and commercial customers can use the site for a fee. Accepted materials include natural items like leaves, grass, brush, garden waste, sod, dirt, and small aggregates, but they do not accept stumps. Visitors must bring a valid picture ID, and materials must be separated and removed from any bags brought in. Biodegradable bags are not accepted as they do not decompose at the same rate as the materials on-site. No mixed loads are allowed, and anything over 10 inches in diameter will incur a fee.
