Riverview Land Preserve is a Michigan-based licensed, Type II (non-hazardous) solid waste landfill facility owned and operated by the City of Riverview since 1968. The facility exceeds state and federal regulations, managing various non-hazardous solid wastes in an environmentally responsible manner. It offers services to municipal, commercial, and industrial clients, including on-site recycling, secure disposal of construction, demolition, commercial, tree wood management, and special wastes. The facility provides a weight scale with a ticket office, paved drop-off site, and accepts a wide variety of waste types. Residents have specific recycling hours from Monday to Friday, with extended hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and limited hours on Saturdays for the Recycling Center only. The Landfill is not open on Saturdays, and dumping trash is not allowed on Saturdays. Contractor hours are from Monday to Friday, with specific hours for contract customers and customers without contracts.
