About This Center
The Wyandotte Recycling Center, located at 1170 Grove Street in Wyandotte, offers recycling services to residents only, requiring ID for drop-off. The center does not accept pizza boxes and requests that plastic bags inside cereal boxes be removed before recycling. Additionally, electronics recycling is available at the Riverview Center, accepting only computer-related equipment as of December 1, 2014.

Stanley Blazeraznik (3/5 stars, in the last week): It is really hit or miss. Timing is everything. During peak hours the residents of Wyandotte cannot handle the traffic flow parking. The Staff also struggles with this. Peeps backing up there truck along side the cardboard compactor well that is a big No No or it should be. Peeps parking all half ass and then there are the old peeps. Standing by the plastic compactor with their trash bag taking one piece of plastic out at a time and placing it in the compactor. As if they are the only one on the planet. You would think with their days numbered and winding down they might have a little more urgency but NO! All and all when there are only one or two cars there it is fine. When it is busy it sucks ass.

Abigail Knott (1/5 stars, 10 months ago): First off I called 4 times and no one answered. Why have a phone if you don't use it. Second the woman who works here is the most disrespectful and aggressive person I have ever experienced in any business. We accidentally threw in a branch that was a little too thick apparently into the mulch pit (bushes and branches pile) and she came out of the building (which we waited at to have our IDs checked at for a while but no one came out) and starting YELLING "WE DONT TAKE LOGS HERE! YOU THREW IT AS FAR AS YOU COULD. GO GET IT OUT. WHERE DID YOU THROW IT?" We did grab it out without any questions asked because it was our mistake. She could of told us professionally but instead told us like a Karen. There are some wonderful customer service and anger management courses out there that would improve the business and the image of the city tenfold :)
