Riverview Land Preserve is a Michigan-based licensed, Type II (non-hazardous) solid waste landfill facility owned and operated by the City of Riverview since 1968. The facility exceeds state and federal regulations, managing various non-hazardous solid wastes in an environmentally responsible manner. It offers services to municipal, commercial, and industrial clients, including on-site recycling, secure disposal of construction, demolition, commercial, tree wood management, and special wastes. The facility provides a weight scale with a ticket office, paved drop-off site, and accepts a variety of waste types. Residents have specific recycling hours from Monday to Friday, with extended hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and limited hours on Saturdays for the Recycling Center only. The Landfill is not open on Saturdays, and dumping trash is not allowed on Saturdays. Contractor hours are from Monday to Friday, with specific hours for contract customers and customers without contracts. Hours are not convenient for residents who have jobs no weekends and no evenings. This drives people not to recycle due to the inconvenience.

The girls in the scale office work really hard and fast at getting the line taking care of not quite sure why they have to reway the truck and dumpster sometimes especially a dumpster that was just there .... excellent dump site... reweighing is always a problem when you're trying to get done maybe they think the dumpsters will gain weight

This place gets 5 stars for sure. I frequent here regularly because of my employer. Prices are reasonable and the ladies at the desk are just always pleasant as can be!!! But just s tip if you put a form of payment on file and put a number on your truck and trailer(s) then you do not have to weigh out. They will have your weight on file... very quick and convenient!!!
