Drop off household trash, tree and yard cuttings, and up to three cubic yards of construction and demolition debris at one of the 13 Neighborhood Trash and Recycling Centers in Miami-Dade County. Most centers also accept up to four standard automobile tires and white goods such as old stoves, refrigerators, and washers. However, the disposal of garbage (food or kitchen waste) is prohibited at these centers. Construction and demolition debris disposal is limited to three cubic yards per customer per day. Some centers accept wooden and chain-linked fences, used motor oil, electronics, and cardboard for recycling. Certain centers do not accept white goods, tires, or mattresses. To use the facilities, residential waste fee customers must present a valid State of Florida driver's license or identification card to verify their property address. Oversize vehicles and trailers are not allowed at the centers. If ineligible, customers can submit a TRC Access form for review. The centers are closed on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Independence Day, and Christmas Day.
