It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with longer Wednesday hours during Daylight Saving Time, and is closed Sundays, Mondays and town holidays. Fees follow the town's Waste Disposal Guidelines, and Refuse Disposal Permits are issued in person at the station, the Bulky Waste Facility or Town Hall. Accepted items include aerosol cans, antifreeze, lead acid batteries, leaves and grass clippings, rubber tires, waste motor oil and filters, and clean flattened corrugated cardboard, which goes in a green container and earns the town a per-ton rebate. The town asks residents to come on weekdays to speed up visits.
