Bentonville Compost Facility

The Bentonville Compost Facility offers various grades of compost and wood mulch for sale, with prices ranging from $4 to $20 per cubic yard depending on the grade. Residents can dispose of yard waste for free with a recent utility bill and photo identification, while non-residents are charged $12 per cubic yard for compost. Starting August 12, 2023, all contractors and commercial haulers must be accompanied by a Bentonville resident with their utility bill in person to offload material collected in the city, with no copies of utility bills accepted. As of June 20, 2024, wood chips are free for anyone, and as of January 1, 2024, the facility will no longer accept commercial haulers.
