What are the hours?
Tuesday and Saturday from 8:00 am to 3:45 pm, and Thursday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Demo metal and brush drop-off stops 15 minutes before closing. The center is closed on legal holidays.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Checks, credit cards, and debit cards. Cash is not accepted (effective 12/1/16). Fees are calculated by the Gate Attendant based on the waste you bring.
What items are not accepted here?
The center cannot accept paint or stain, used motor oil, antifreeze, or any household hazardous waste. Paint can be taken to participating stores under Connecticut's paint stewardship program, and residents can use two free regional household hazardous waste collections each year.

Scavenging is prohibited from the E waste dumpster. (unless they've changed the rule since last time I went)

Staff Friendly; all wearing masks. Very efficient process. We are lucky to have this option in our Village.
