Lincoln County Solid Waste operates landfills in Libby, Eureka, and Troy, providing safe and convenient recycling and waste disposal services while prioritizing human health and environmental protection. Visitors are required to secure their load when traveling on any county roadway to prevent littering, as per Lincoln County Solid Waste Regulations. The landfills accept yard waste, general home waste, used appliances, scrap metal, wood products, concrete, batteries, auto or lead-acid motor oil, and antifreeze, with the exception of Happy's Inn and Troy transfer stations. There is no per-use fee for household waste disposal at the landfills or green-box sites, as operations are funded through a 150-unit refuse assessment fee paid with property taxes. The green trash bins to allow everyone to dump and not have to wait is a feat in its self. They have it set up when you go there you dont have to see big mounds of garage. So we keep the Karen's from thinking we are destroying the world.🤨 The workers are friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you for taking great care of it.
