About this center
I Buy Scrap runs its East Valley yard on East Gilbert Drive in Tempe, with a sister yard in Phoenix covering the West Valley. Staff grade each load at drop-off and buy more than 100 grades of scrap, from aluminum cans, window frames, and ladders to copper tubing, insulated wire, cast iron tubs, water heaters, and air conditioners.
Cars, truck beds, motorcycles, boat trailers, wheels, motor blocks, radiators, and batteries all have a place on the buying list, and the Tempe yard stays open seven days a week. Roll-off dumpsters and metal containers are available for contractors, and the company lists auto recyclers, HVAC firms, machine shops, plumbers, and demolition crews among the industries it buys from.

This guy wouldn’t let me in because he wanted to close the gate early. Thanks for wasting my clients time. Says close at 4 on google but this guy claims 3:30 they leave at 4. But the week day is somehow the correct closing hours.

Says they close at 3:30 on Sundays. Went by at 3:00 to drop off some pots and pans and gates were closed. Didn’t even want money in exchange just wanted to make sure they didn’t end up in a dump. Drove 15min out of the way for no reason.
