Who is eligible to use the Drop-Off Stations?
Fort Worth residents with a City solid waste (sanitation services) account must bring a copy or photo of a current water utility bill (within 6 months) showing sanitation charges, plus a matching driver's license. Fort Worth apartment residents can use their driver's license to drop off recycling and household hazardous waste.
What are the hours of operation?
The stations are open Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. They are closed Sunday and Monday, and on several holidays including MLK Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
Are there limits on how much I can drop off?
Yes. Tires are limited to four per household every six months (rims and tires must be separated). Household hazardous waste is limited to 20 gallons of chemicals per household every 3 months. Computers and televisions are limited to two every six months. Fluorescent tube lighting is limited to 10 every 3 months. Small remodeling waste is limited to one visit per month, up to five cubic yards.

The four locations are: Brennan Drop-Off Station at 2400 Brennan Ave.; Southeast Drop-Off Station at 5150 Martin Luther King Fwy.; Old Hemphill Road Drop-Off Station at 6260 Old Hemphill Rd.; and Hillshire Drop-Off Station (North Service Center) at 301 Hillshire Dr.

Staff is helpful and the area is well organized. I drop my Styrofoam old electronics and batteries off here. I also picked up my compost bucket to be part of the city's composting program.

This place is a blessing I use this site about twice a year wait time varies the most I have waited is 30 minutes. The man just asked what I'm dumping today I show him my I.D and he points me to the area to dump.

Almost always at least a little busy but they have lots of bays they keep it moving. It's great when you have big items or extra trash from cleaning and you don't have to sit on it for an extra week
