DIA VANESSA GONZALES (4/5 stars, 3 weeks ago): If you aren’t a scrapper it can get confusing. I feel like that every scrap yard should have a set of instructions on what to do and what not to do and which way to go. Otherwise it can get confusing and frustrating for people who don’t go a regular. At EMR if you go over 5 miles per hour when you’re going to the scale - an alarm will go off and they make you go back all the way around and start the line over. This is an inconvenience when they are busy. EMR has fair scrap prices. FYI when you cash in copper they give you a check which you won’t get for 5 days. Anything over $300 they give you a check for as well.
