Line is real slow I spent 1 1/2 hours here from beginning to end. Ridiculously slow and the drug addicts skip you in line. Don't come here. You will waste your time here and might catch a disease.

Jacques de Boisblanc (1/5 stars, 10 months ago): Sold 401 lb clean aluminum advertised @ $.50 per lb and got $.15 per lb because it had less than 4% steel. They paid me $60.15 AND owed me $$200.50 for a truck load of aluminum transmission cases that took over 2 days to clean. I will never go back there again and recommend everyone else to do the same. It won't pay your labor. This is stealing and explaing why $300 000 of stolen steel from the old Times Picayune building was found in the yard. Both Mayor Cantrell and I wonder why the police havn't locked down this place yet as the law dictates.

Uptown has been one of the best and quickest for service and placement. Deborah in dispatch and Nathan one of the drivers both have gone above and beyond.. it's not often you get to deal with people so willing to help.
