Elk Eco Cycle Recycling Center

Elk Eco Cycle is a non-profit recycling center located at 310 Curtis Ave, Torrington, WY, serving Torrington, Goshen County, and surrounding Wyoming areas. They offer self-serve depositories for pre-sorted aluminum cans, clean steel cans, and cardboard. Accepted items include aluminum cans, brown paper, cardboard (broken down and flattened), junk mail, magazines, newsprint, rinsed steel cans, and white office paper. They emphasize the importance of delivering loose paper products during business hours, usually 8-10 AM Monday to Friday. Not accepted are co-mingled or contaminated products, glass, milk cartons, plastic containers, shredded paper, and waxed cardboard. Elk Eco Cycle's mission is to save resources, money, and the environment by recycling select paper and metal products to prevent valuable resources from entering the waste stream. They accept small cash donations at the center and larger donations needing a receipt should be delivered to Platte Valley Bank.
