Temporarily CLOSED, will open on July 2nd 2024, the Electronic Recycling site on Mercer Island accepts various electronic items free of charge, including televisions of any age and size, desktop and laptop computers with peripherals and cables, tablets, e-readers, monitors, and cell phones excluding office or home telephones. They do not accept printers, copy machines, scanners, appliances such as vacuum cleaners and microwaves, light fixtures with bulbs and tubes, batteries unless part of laptops, VHS players, cassette tapes, DVD players, stereo equipment, radios, speakers, cardboard boxes, and Styrofoam. Operating hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, closed on Sundays and Mondays. Visitors are instructed to leave items at the back of the parking lot inside the shed and not outside when the shed is closed. The location is 7835 SE 30th Street, Mercer Island, WA 98040, across from ISLAND HOUSE and behind ISLAND BOOKS.
