Having a place like this where I can hawk old doors/springs for free is vital for my business the fact they pay me anything is a bonus in my book. Everyone is nice get me in and out quickly my one request would be bigger dumpsters for the drop off bins but these guys are great no complaints.

I went to Demcon Metal Recycling in Shakopee and was greeted by Ella who was polite and informative. Secondly I backed into a bay to unload my aluminum and was greeted by the plant manager Tyler and a few other guys. They were excellent. Afterwards I pulled into the scrap metal and was greeted by Tyler a second time. He guided me in was friendly and patient. They are top notch and user friendly for novices like me. 👍

However th3 prices that these guys offer are the lowest meaning worse then any other yard in the Metro and are ridiculously picky. They are looking for the most tiny flaw in your processed metal so it can be reduced to a lesser pay and also have been known to use some trickery against s sę the actual weight.
