City of Warren's Sanitation Division Recycling Center, located at 25801 Flanders Avenue in Warren, MI, offers a range of services for residents. The center accepts various materials including furniture, household refuse, newspapers, mixed paper, phone books, magazines, cardboard, auto batteries, motor oil, antifreeze, electrical wire, computers, electronics, styrofoam, scrap metal, copper, brass, aluminum, appliances, and compost material. However, they do not accept tree stumps, hazardous waste, shingles, dirt, sod, bricks, rocks, tires, or certain plastics like bags and motor oil containers. Residents must place discarded materials into proper containers and provide proof of residency. The center operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon, with Saturday hours subject to change. Visitors should note that contractors are not eligible to use the facility for disposal. For any questionable materials, the yard personnel will make the final decision on acceptance.
