About this center
Circle K Scrap has bought metal in Central Alabama since 1974 as a family-owned yard, and it now operates from 30550 Highway 31 in Calera after a move. It works with industrial accounts and the general public, buying aluminum, copper, brass, steel, stainless steel, cast iron, cans, radiators, coils, and electric motors, with no minimum quantity. The yard serves Calera, Alabaster, Montevallo, Jemison, and surrounding communities.
Staff inspect and sort each load, weigh it on certified scales, and pay at current market prices. Sellers bring a valid photo ID. Industrial accounts get dumpster rotations, new dumpster delivery, and scheduled or on-demand pickup. The yard opens Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM and Saturday from 7 AM to noon.
