Cavazos Recycling Center

Fort Cavazos is a premier Army installation located in Central Texas, covering 214,968 acres and serving as the primary training and deployment site for heavy forces. Established in 1942 during World War II, the base offers a diverse array of activities for residents and visitors, including spinning classes, ATV parks, mountain biking trails, and more. The surrounding communities of Killeen, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Belton, Gatesville, Temple, and Lampasas provide strong support for Army families. The Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, opened in 2016, offers modern medical facilities to the Fort Cavazos community.
