Alex H (1/5 stars, 8 months ago): They told me the price for copper would be 3 dollars but when I brought the pipes they calculated all of it at 2.50. They said one of the pipes is dirty (even though it wasn't) and downgraded the whole batch just because of that little piece of (what they call) a dirty copper. Not satisfied.

Trapper The Scrapper (1/5 stars, 2 years ago): Today I decided to support a local scrapyard. Unfortunately i see now why most rather taking the trip into NY. If you scrap on a professional level as i do then you know how important PROPER pricing is. Today I brought in OVER 150 pounds of metal SEPARATED AND SORTED ACCORDINGLY. I brought in 300 mcm COOPER!! Over 50 pounds of that alone (ill attach the receipt for reference) over 50 pounds of YELLOW PIPE. Over 50 pounds of COOPER HEAP. And a small aluminum motor that barley weighed 6 pounds. Im breaking this down so you can understand how these crooks get over on you especially if they think you don’t know what you’re talking about.after I WEIGHED EVERYTHING ON MY PERSONAL SCALE IN MY YARD I THREW EVERYTHING INTO MY CAR. I don't know how but magically when i arrived my total weight was just over 113 pounds sheesh. Maybe my fast car burned the pounds off or something. I’ll let you be the judge of that one. So when the gentleman (who I’ll call COOPER POT) finally printed the first receipt I didn’t look at it right away as ive been doing this since i was barely able to reach the kitchen counter i know ball park how much everything was supposed to come put. As a matter of fact i checked the scrap pricing (as i always do before i go to the scrap yard) and noticed everything was actually ip a bit fr yesterdays pricing. Cool! I thought maybe I’ll get a bit extra for lunch. If you didn’t know already this information is free to whoever. Jist google current scrap metal pricing tri state area and plenty of information will pop up. The first receipt was for $148 I brought it to this gentleman that weighed me out that he had some serious miscalculations on my ticket. He replied “ you brought in brass cooper mix” I immediately told him that actually everything was already separated so it wasn’t mixed it was actually the YELLOW BRASS AND IN A SEPARATE PILE WAS THE COOPER TUBING OR HEAP DEPENDING WHOS LOOKING. I walk by to retrieve my metal to re weigh it properly and he had already instructed his workers to basically steal my hard earned metal. I use the term openly as this is exactly what they did. The stole over 47 pounds of COOPER YELLOW PIPE and 300 MCM COOPER WIRE ALL TOGETHER. If you know you math thats over $120 this company stope from me. DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS. DO DILIGENCE GOES FAR IN THIS PROFESSION. THIS GUY THOUGHT PENNY WISE. TOO BAD BECAUSE THIS WAS A TEST RUN BEFORE I BROUGHT IN MY ACTUAL LOAD SMH. Stay blessed felllow scrappers. Yours truly.
