Nikolas Aley (5/5 stars, a year ago): Yard is kept in order and the facilities are kept up well. Drive thru non-ferrous area which is really convenient no other scrap yard has that. The employees are really friendly willing to help you unlock if need be. Only place I'll scrap with. Kids love the light house out front.

Angie terSteeg (5/5 stars, 6 years ago): Wonderful very clean scrap yard as all paths are paved and easily maneuvered. The staff I've dealt with is very knowledgeable and friendly--management is top notch. While they may require that you prepare your material in a specific manner taking the time to do so gets you the better price--and it makes sense--if you don't prepare it properly they have to pay their employees to do the prep instead which means they can't pay you as much for it. If you have questions about how to prepare your material call ahead--they will more than happily do their best to explain what is needed. I would highly recommend Beacon Recycling for all your scrap metal needs!

Brent Link (2/5 stars, 2 years ago): Be Careful Here! I ALWAYS call ahead of time to see what the buyers are paying for whatever I might bring in. Last week I called and asked about painted extruded aluminum and I was quoted $1.10 per lb. as well as siding prices. I collected what I was going to bring in and we unloaded it going thru each type carefully so I would understand the differences in the different grades of aluminum. When we finished he printed my slip i cashed it out and went on my way. Once I was home I looked it over and they had paid me only $.90 lb. so I called them. She gave me a run around about what I brought in and when I didn't just give up she stated she would check with the "boys" to see what happened and she would call me back. Apparently she thought I would forget about it overnight but I didn't. I called back in the morning. She shoved me off to me of the "boys". He told me to stop in and they would actually pay me the going rate. Oh. I didn't see any "boys" working there. Just men.
