About this center

Axmen Recycling has bought scrap metal in Missoula since 2010. The family-owned yard on Summit Drive pays cash for copper, aluminum, batteries, and most other scrap metal, and it tows scrap cars from the local area for free. Axmen asks sellers not to drain fluids from vehicles bound for the yard, so the yard drains and disposes of them itself. It does not take plastic, glass, or newspaper. It is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday.

These guys are awesome! I brought in an old junker trying to get rid of it. They gave us a tour and took care of everything then handed me cash (and a free t-shirt) on the way out. Easy and great experience!

Last week my wife and I brought in our stove. It was our first time visiting so we were ignorant to the process but as we pulled in a nice gentleman explained what to do and showed us where to go. He went above and beyond and even met us in the back and helped us unload it. My back was so thankful! Kudos for axmen for having standout customer service and thank you Ryan for treating us to such a pleasant experience.
