Devlin Road Recycling Transfer Facility, located at 889 Devlin Road in American Canyon, offers a range of services for waste disposal and recycling. The facility is open daily from 8am to 4pm, except on specific holidays when it is closed or has reduced hours. Accepted items for a fee include garbage, mixed construction and demolition waste (C&D), shingles, carpet, bulky items like furniture and appliances (including freon removal), tires, and clean dirt. Certain items are accepted free of charge, such as auto batteries, household batteries, latex paint, antifreeze, used motor oil, filters, and one mattress and box spring set per visit. Additional mattresses can be accepted for a fee. The facility emphasizes the importance of covering and securing loads, with an $18 surcharge for uncovered loads. Payment options include Visa, Mastercard, debit cards, and cash, with no personal checks accepted. The Buyback Recycle Center on-site allows for the redemption of CRV beverage containers and scrap metal, open Monday to Saturday for buyback and Sunday for drop-off of recyclables only. The Hazardous Waste Collection Facility is also located on Devlin Road, open on Fridays and Saturdays from 9am to 4pm. The facility serves the Cities of Vallejo, Napa, and American Canyon, as well as southern unincorporated Napa County, sending waste to the Potrero Hills Landfill in Solano County. Since 2007, the facility has incorporated a mixed C&D processing area to enhance recycling efforts, sorting materials like wood, carpet, plastics, and metal. Carpet is recycled into various products, including new carpet, carpet padding, plastic lumber, and car parts. She said i only had 11 lbs when i had weighed it before i left and it weighed 34lb and my scale has always been 100% it said the correct on the plastic bottles. of course they had already poored my cans in the big bag by the time she paid me So there was nothing i could do.. its sad because were all out here tring to eat to have someone that wont be honest when its her job is just aweful. So if u are taking ur stuff down there because u need to eat or its a matter of gas or walking I suggest U go else where.. I'm just sick about it.. She made herself a good tip. Im thinking about standing out front with a sign directing people else where. That lady should be fired she is taking from the customers. I dont know her name but she worked july 12th 2024 and she was the only one handing money out. It would be easy for them to find who was responsible . Beware Brenda
