How to Recycle Adhesives/Glues
Construction adhesives, epoxies, and industrial glues.
Special handlingUpdated Jun 2026
Quick answer
It depends. Solvent-based adhesives, epoxies, and construction glues are household hazardous waste and shouldn't be trashed wet or poured out. Take liquids to an HHW facility; fully cured or dried adhesive and empty tubes can usually go in the regular trash.
