They provide trash and recycling drop-off locations for homeowners, businesses, and communities, accepting materials like plastic, glass, and cardboard. Customers can find nearby drop-off locations by entering their address on the map, filtering by Recycling for recycling centers, and checking the Accepted Materials tab for specific landfill items. Charges for dropping off trash depend on the load weight, with additional fees for special materials like mattresses or electronics. Construction waste can be disposed of at landfills or through temporary roll-off dumpster rentals. Accepted construction debris includes concrete, porcelain, lumber, and more. Old furniture can be donated if in good condition, or disposed of at a landfill or recycling facility. Accepted furniture items include sofas, chairs, mattresses, and tables. Electronics recycling is available at some WM facilities, with accepted items varying by location. Waste transfer stations are temporary facilities for waste sorting before disposal or recycling. Visitors can use the Trash Disposal filter on the map to locate transfer stations.
