What can I drop off at the 24/7 community recycling bins?
The eight community drop-off sites accept aluminum cans, glass bottles and jars, #1 and #2 plastic bottles and jars, steel/tin food cans, aluminum foil, newspapers, office paper, magazines, paperback books, stretchy plastic bags and wrap, and corrugated cardboard. Everything must be clean, dry, and sorted by category.
What are the Recycling Center's hours and location?
The Recycling Center is at 3270 S. Adams Canyon Road in Jackson, about two miles south of High School Road on Highway 89. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call (307) 733-7678 with questions.
Where do I take large or bulky items like scrap metal, mattresses, and appliances?
Bring them to the Teton County Trash Transfer Station, which accepts scrap metal (free), yard waste, mattresses, tires, large appliances, and certain construction and demolition materials. Fees may apply depending on material type and volume.
Are there fees for any recycling drop-offs?
Most standard recyclables are free. Food scraps are $2 per 5-gallon bucket and bear spray is $2 per canister at the Recycling Center. Scrap metal is free at the Trash Transfer Station, though fees may apply for other transfer-station materials by type and volume.

I’ve had multiple experiences at the Transfer Station and unfortunately interactions with an employee named Lori have been consistently negative. She has made myself and others feel unwelcome and uncomfortable due to her unprofessional attitude. It’s disappointing that a county facility which should uphold high standards of customer service allows this behavior to continue. Respectful treatment of all patrons should be a priority and I hope management takes this concern seriously to ensure a more positive experience for everyone. However Gregorio has always been nothing but kind and a light in a time where it seems hard to find quality customer service.

Hell on earth. I was aware of all the rules and had been there on multiple times and complied every time. On this particular visit I was informed that I could not use the dump feature on my trailer because a small amount of dirt was near the door of my dump trailer. I then had to hand unload the trailer. The worker was clearly on a power trip. I was nothing but polite through the exchange.

Greg was so helpful in entrance he explain every thing answer all question with kindness my trunk was full just took 10$ pretty cheap!
