What foam can I drop off?

Used #6 polystyrene foam, including post-consumer foam cups and to-go containers, egg cartons, ice chests, rinsed meat trays, and protective packaging foam used to ship electronics. Look for the #6 inside the chasing-arrows triangle.

How should I prepare my foam before dropping it off?

Rinse or wipe off containers, remove lids, straws, packaging tape, and labels, and place the foam in a see-through bag before depositing it.

Do you accept packing peanuts?

No. Packing peanuts are not accepted. Contact your local post office or parcel service to see if they take peanuts for reuse.

Does Dart pay for the foam I bring in?

No. Dart Container does not pay for material delivered to them and does not reimburse shipping. They also reserve the right to refuse foam that does not meet their criteria.

Behind the DART Container Corporation on Joseph Hardin. Go to Ledbetter and Joseph Hardin and follow the blue signs. Free collection bin for #6 recyclable foam including cups egg cartons meat trays ice chests and hard molded styrofoam used in packing and shipping. No styrofoam peanuts. Must be in a clear bag. A private company that accepts foam recycling for free.

Easy drop off for large styrofoam forms that came from a delivery. Finally found a spot for it. Mine weren't in a plastic bag due to size but there were large bags that I could place them and smaller pieces already at the location.

Free recycling of stylofoam accepted here. Includes plates takeout containers packing materials egg cartons etc. Open 24-7. Items need to be cleaned and bagged in clear plastic bags.
