JBLM Recycle Center

The Joint Base Lewis-McChord Recycling Program is dedicated to reducing, reusing, and recycling to support environmental preservation and meet Department of Defense objectives. Corporate Waste Solutions collaborates with JBLM to enhance waste minimization and diversion through a comprehensive recycling program. The program aims to sustain resources for JBLM's future as a leading training installation. The Recycling Centers at McChord and Lewis are accessible to on-base personnel, JBLM organizations, and off-base military personnel with orders, but not open to retirees or civilians due to legal restrictions. Effective November 1, 2024, the program no longer accepts glass materials due to market changes. Toner cartridges are accepted at both centers. The McChord Field Recycle Center is located on Southgate Road, Bldg. J000516, while the Lewis Main Recycle Center is on Nevada Avenue, Bldg. 5290. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with specific schedules for each center. Visitors can request pick-ups or provide suggestions for the program.
