Recycling centers in Midvale

Midvale All Small Auto Inc. started in 1976 as Volks-Rebuilders, a shop for air-cooled Volkswagens, and became one of the first Utah yards to specialize in foreign vehicles when imports took off in the early 1980s. The third-generation family business now stocks more than 75,000 new and used parts across 30-plus makes of cars and trucks. Former automotive technicians run the yard. Each part is tested on the vehicle before removal, cleaned, tagged, stored in a set location, and bench tested again when it sells. Commercial customers across the Salt Lake Valley get free next-day delivery. The yard is licensed, bonded, and insured as a Utah auto recycler.

Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District collects garbage and recycling at the curb for households across its service area, with crews on the route Monday through Friday. Every household receives weekly collection, an annual landfill voucher, container repair or replacement, and access to a seasonal container reservation program for cleanup periods. Residents add paid services: extra cans, green waste carts, monthly glass recycling for eligible addresses, and specialty curbside pickup of approved bulky household items. A fall leaf bag drop-off runs from mid-October through November 30. The district office sits on West 6960 South in Midvale.
