AWAR (Adams County Waste and Recycling) is a waste transfer station located at 95 Trefz Road in West Union, funded by the Adams-Clermont Solid Waste District and operated by Adams Brown Recycling. The transfer station is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, closed on Wednesdays, Sundays, government holidays, and Good Friday.
