Recycling centers in West Union

Aluminum cans can be sold to AWAR, and other materials like aluminum, copper, brass, zinc, lead-acid batteries are accepted on specific days. It is one of 18 sites the Adams-Clermont Solid Waste District maintains across Adams County, and it takes glass bottles and jars in addition to the standard containers and paper. Compost bins are available for purchase at a discounted price of $60 each, promoting home composting to reduce landfill waste and improve soil quality.
