About This Center
Compost bins are available for purchase at a discounted price of $60 each, promoting home composting to reduce landfill waste and improve soil quality. A limited quantity of bins can be picked up on May 1 and May 2. Volunteers are sought for the Spring Litter Clean-up Event on April 26, 2025, across Clermont County. Vouchers are offered for free disposal of certain household hazardous wastes like herbicides and pesticides. Outdoor recycling containers can be borrowed for large public events, and junk disposal events are scheduled by various townships in Clermont County. The Hefty ReNew Orange Bag Program facilitates recycling of hard-to-recycle plastics and Styrofoam. Additionally, the Ohio Department of Transportation has launched the "No More Litter, Ohio" campaign. Public recycling drop-off sites have specific hours and locations, with one recently relocated from Epiphany United Methodist Church back to Miami Township north Fire Station 27, and another temporarily moved from the Fire Station to 6785 Goshen Rd.
