HHW Specialty Waste is temporarily closed due to on-site construction. The facility accepts household hazardous waste, electronics, tires, and appliances with Freon from Medina County residents on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays only, with a ten-item limit per vehicle. Businesses are not allowed to drop off items. For those with more than ten items, an appointment must be made by contacting the office. The center also offers educational materials and hosts the 2024 Fall Foliage Tour. Visitors can inquire about recycling or the recyclability of specific items by asking the experts.
