The Sunnyvale Materials Recovery and Transfer Station, also known as the SMaRT Station, located at 301 Carl Road in Sunnyvale 94089, serves residents and businesses of Sunnyvale and Mountain View by accepting garbage and recycling materials. Operating hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week, with closures on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Visitors must ensure that all open loads are covered and secured to avoid a fee of $15 for uncovered loads.
