The Spokane County Regional Solid Waste Valley Transfer Station at 3941 N Sullivan Road in Spokane Valley accepts household garbage, construction and demolition debris, mattresses, furniture, tires, and residential appliances from both residents and businesses. The site also has a free recyclables drop-off area and free Household Hazardous Waste disposal, with HHW accepted Saturdays and Sundays only. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily; the station is closed on six major holidays. All loads must be covered or secured. Call (509) 477-6800 for fees and accepted materials.

As far as dumps go this is a great one. The people who work there are super friendly and helpful. When there is a line it moves quickly and its super easy to use. Loading dump runs can be a pain but this place makes their part real easy and enjoyable.

There are two entries one for recycling one for the dump. This facility is nicely staffed w helpful people. Recycling ( cardboard paper aluminum plastics) is free and usually has no wait.
