The center is for Town of Somers residents. A Recycling Center permit is required, and all permit applications require proof of residency in the Town of Somers with a 100% ID check.

You need a valid driver's license or state ID; one proof of residency (vehicle registration, a recent Somers home or vehicle tax bill, proof of home/business purchase or rental agreement, or a utility, water, or sewer bill in your name and Somers address); a completed permit application; and the permit fee, payable by cash, check, or credit card.

The Recycling Center is open Monday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is closed on listed federal and state holidays.
