Skagit River Steel & Recycling
About This Center
Skagit River Steel Recycling is a family-owned metal sales and scrap recycling center located in Burlington, WA, in business since 1958. They offer recycling services for aluminum cans at a current price of $0.25 per pound as of August 26, 2021, with potential price fluctuations. To prevent the spread of coronavirus, they have implemented new protocols such as encouraging recycling customers to stay in their vehicles for drop-offs and limiting warehouse access for new steel customers, with call-in orders and pickups encouraged. Masks are encouraged for office entry, and only a few people are allowed in the warehouse at a time, with precautions like cleaning, glove-wearing, and availability of hand sanitizer in place. Skagit River Steel Recycling prides itself on being environmentally responsible, offering over 800 metal and steel products in stock, custom orders, and competitive recycling processing and supply services to national and international markets. They emphasize their commitment to environmental stewardship, waste reduction, recycling, and community job provision. The center is located at 1265 S Anacortes St in Burlington, WA, with contact information available for inquiries.

Lawrence Hawk (1/5 stars, a year ago): I have taken company scrap and not paid much attention just gave to the boss now I understand why he question me he thought I was selling his scrap from under him. So I was dealing with crooks and thieves. The Washington state department of weights and measures people need to call and file complaints so they'll go there and act like a regular customer with predetermined weights and then the state Attorney General can sue them in court so everybody needs to call Washington State Department of weights and measures and complain and continue complain and go on the website and complain they will either get shut down or clean up their act. They cost me my integrity at work with my boss all because of their actions and nothing I did wrong
