Location: 329 North Smith Road, Riverton, Wyoming 82501. Contact Information: District Office Phone. Hours of Operation: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Closed on various holidays. Wastes Accepted: Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), Recycling, Electronic Waste (E-Waste), and small quantities of Construction and Demolition (C&D). Disposal Fees: MSW and C&D disposal fee is $0.04 per pound. Recycling is free. Accepted Recycling Materials: Plastics (clear bottles, milk jugs), Paper Products (mixed papers, shredded papers, corrugated cardboard), Metals (tin cans, aluminum beverage cans), Electronic Waste, Green Waste (leaves, lawn clippings, branches). Not Accepted: Chemical containers, medication pill bottles, films, wraps, tarps, bags, Styrofoam, toys, pools, etc. Other Acceptable Items: Used anti-freeze, motor oil, lead acid batteries, paint. Green waste collection service is available by appointment.
