About this center

Recycle Minnesota processes single stream recyclables in a 40,000 square foot Lakeville plant that opened in August 2014 to serve the south Twin Cities metro. The plant sorts 25 tons per hour and also direct bales source-separated recyclables delivered by haulers. Its affiliate Dick's Sanitation fed the plant first, and other area haulers followed. A 21,000 square foot addition in late 2019 added a transfer station and a public drop-off center for local residents and businesses, plus a commercial recycling stream line and a new baler. The drop-off sits inside the plant building, off County Road 70 two miles east of I-35W.

Review

I dropped off a couple of old chairs and rugs. If I'd known how easy it was I would have done it a long time ago! The woman at the front desk was great and the process was easy.

The guys working here are very fast and friendly to truck drivers. This place is well organized and clean to its best. In & out of the scale so fast .. I’ll definitely pick up a load from this customer again.

The front desk lady who’s name I didn’t catch but she has curly hair was super kind and helpful which I haven’t ever had at any recycling place. So thank you to her also place was really affordable.
