The QC Recycling Center is a Town of Queen Creek drop-off site located at 22179 E Ryan Rd, near Frontier Family Park, open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. It accepts the same materials allowed in curbside carts, including plastics, cartons, paper, aluminum and metal cans, glass, and corrugated cardboard, plus cooking oil and grease in a designated container. Residents drop recyclables directly into the bins, with glass going in a glass-only container; plastic bags, Styrofoam, and packing materials are not accepted. The Town also runs weekly curbside recycling, drive-through recycling events, and a household hazardous waste program.

It is a wonderful resource for residents but recently they've been closed the past 3 weeks so there has been no good place to dispose of large bulky cardboard. Hopefully they will empty the containers and reopen soon

Something every town and city should have especially since so many people do online shopping now. Great to be able to take a bunch of boxes or glass or cooking oil down to a easy to access location and get rid of them .

This is a WONDERFUL opportunity to have! Just to share their office business standard hours are M-Th. 07:00-18:00 closed Friday. What can I drop off at the QC Recycling Center?
The center accepts all recyclables allowed in curbside carts: plastics (bottles, jugs, jars, trays, containers), cartons, paper, aluminum and metal cans, glass, and corrugated cardboard. Glass bottles and jars go in the glass-only container, and cooking oil and grease can be dropped in the Cooking Oil Recycling Program container.

The QC Recycling Center is located at 22179 E Ryan Rd, with access off Ryan Rd near Frontier Family Park. It is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. Check the Town's X account for any temporary closures before going.
Who can use the recycling center?
The site is available to anyone who wishes to use it, including residents who have not yet started Town service and those who live in multi-family communities.
What is not accepted?
Plastic bags are not accepted because they jam the sorting machinery. Styrofoam, packing peanuts, and other packaging materials are also not recyclable. Break down all boxes, do not bag recyclables, and toss items directly into the bins. Items cannot be left outside the bins.
