Plainview Recycling Center

The Plainview Recycling Center offers free recycle cart services to local businesses, with pick-ups scheduled on Thursdays only. Businesses must call in before Thursday to be included in the pick-up list, and only office paper, shredded paper, and newspaper are accepted in the recycle carts. Additionally, recyclables can be dropped off at the center, except for glass, and the center is located at 1018 E. Fourth St. Plainview, TX 79072, open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a lunch break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Used motor oil and antifreeze recycling is also available at the center during specific hours, including the second Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., free for residents but not for commercial use.
