My experience at the Pharr Recycling Center was overall very good and professional. I was able to recycle plastic tires and a car battery for free. The only issue I had was that the phone number listed doesn't work; you need to call the city of Pharr to get redirected to the correct number. Despite this I still give it a solid 4 stars.

Open during COVID-19! One of the only recycling centers in the entire Rio Grande Valley. And probably the only one that's open during the pandemic.

I don't know how to drop off recycling during normal hours. The gate says authorized vehicles only. Before I was able to pull up and it would open. Now the front drop off is only open after 5 so I've been going to the San Juan recycling center which accepts glass unlike Pharr.
