About this center
Ohio Gulch Transfer Station, operated by Southern Idaho Solid Waste (SISW) at 110 Ohio Gulch Road in Hailey, is where all of Hailey's curbside waste and recycling is consolidated before being trucked to Milner Butte Landfill in Burley. SISW also co-locates Winn's Composting at the site, which sells finished compost to the public. The transfer station serves Blaine County residents and operates Monday through Saturday. SISW applies landfill-gas-to-energy technology and co-located wind turbines at downstream facilities.
