Marion County's Baseline Landfill/Transfer Station located at 5601 SE 66th St. in Ocala, FL, operates from Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is closed on Sundays. The facility does not accept abrasive grit, asbestos, boats, concrete, contaminated soil, deceased pets or livestock, dirt, rocks, sod, power poles, RVs, mobile homes, or sludge. Additionally, the Baseline Recycling Center at the same address accepts electronics and operates from Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can drop off household garbage and single-stream recycling only on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
