About This Center

The City of Llano's Citizen Collection Station and Recycle Center, situated north of town on State Highway 16, accepts various items for disposal but requires proof of residency before accepting any materials. They do not accept rocks, dirt, brick, concrete, TVs, electronics, monitors, hazardous chemicals, paint, stable matter waste from animal keeping, household garbage, dead animals, boats, vehicles, campers, tires larger than 20 inches, pressurized or sealed containers. Items using Freon need a certification form from a licensed A/C company. The center operates on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with credit card payments accepted. Visitors are advised to refer to the Master Fee Schedule for current resident and non-resident fees.

Larry Dial (2/5 stars, 3 years ago): THIS IS NOT A RECYCLE CENTER. the attendant is friendly and informative. The location is not bad. It is not however a recycle center. They do not recycle anything. If you leave it there it goes to the county landfill. We drove a load of glass down there from San Saba. because Google has them listed as a recycle center but they are not.
