Litchfield Recycling Center

The Litchfield Recycling Center, located at 72 Little Pitch Road, Litchfield, CT, operates Tuesday to Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the latest arrival time for access at 2:45 PM. This facility is dedicated to the collection and processing of recyclable materials, including paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, and metal, which residents can bring for sorting and preparation for reuse. Windshield stickers are required for access and are available for free at the Recycling Center office; these stickers are valid from July 1st to June 30th and must be renewed annually. Residents are responsible for hiring a private carting service for regular household garbage.
