The Solid Waste Division of the Public Works Department in Laramie provides recycling and solid waste collection services for the community and surrounding areas. They offer daily trash and recycling collection for residential properties and commercial accounts, as well as operate a city-owned landfill serving Laramie, rural Albany County, and nearby regions. The landfill houses a recycling center that is open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, conveniently located at 162 Roger Canyon Rd. The recycling center is paved for ease of access, and visitors can contact the Solid Waste Division for more information.
