K K Metal Recycling is a locally owned recycling center with over fifteen years of experience, founded by Dusty Gibbs, Mitch Gibbs, and Henry Wang in 2006. Located at 1728 Second Street N, Minneapolis, MN 55411, the facility operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:15 pm, closed on Saturdays. Notable updates include the addition of more solar panels and the establishment of a pollinator habitat. However, starting from January 1, 2025, the facility will no longer accept catalytic converters due to the Copper Law. Additionally, they are currently not accepting aluminum cans. I am a handicap lady that took me to have someone load my recycles and nobody at this facility would help me take it out of the car very poor customer service very poor service period to treat somebody with a disability like that it's completely unacceptable

Very clean scrap yard / parking lot kept clean away from anything that will pop your tires like other scrap yards are notorious for doing / best price for scrap metal and copper in the Minnesota by far / very nice people that work there worth the travel to north mpls which is hard for lots to do especially in this time of age / very easy to get money or check for company / don't waste your time at any other scrap yard you will thank yourself at K & K metal and your pockets will to Still the same
