About This Center
Idaho County Recycling is a volunteer-led organization operating since 2009 in Grangeville, Kooskia, and Cottonwood. The Grangeville location is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., situated on the west side of Day Road. Kooskia is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with extended hours until 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and specific Saturdays. Cottonwood operates on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and is located on Broadway. Accepted items include tin, aluminum cans, newspaper, cardboard, but no glass or trash. Items must be clean and sorted before being brought in, and assistance is available for those who need help unloading.
